Miracle Life Ministries

Rusty and Mildred Russell have been ordained ministers since 1974. They were formally in leadership with the Maranatha Christian Churches International from 1974 to 1990. Rusty was one of the International Prophetic Ministers that traveled and held Evangelistic crusades on many campuses and in many churches throughout the many Maranatha Churches worldwide. He was also on the Pastoral Board of Directors and years earlier he was the Vice-president of Maranatha Ministries.

Due to the decentralization of Maranatha Ministries in 1990, they were given the opportunity to begin a new ministry. They felt this new ministry, could better serve Jesus and the Body of Christ, His church, by forming and being part of an Evangelist Association, thus the birth of Miracle Life Ministries, Inc.

Rusty Russell attended Paducah Community College and Western Kentucky University.

In October of 1972, Rusty's sister, Rose Weiner, shared with him about God's desire to heal him of asthma. Through a series of events which followed, Rusty was born again, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and healed from asthma.

Rusty attended Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. He then returned to Paducah, Kentucky to complete his ministerial training with Maranatha Christian Churches.

Rusty served as the co-pastor of the Maranatha Church in Paducah. He then founded and pastored the Maranatha Chapel in Athens, Georgia, for two and a half years. He also helped pioneer the Maranatha Church in Oxford, England for two years.

While in England the Lord spoke to Rusty that he would be traveling throughout the nations in a prophetic and healing ministry. Since 1981 he has ministered in Ireland, England, Europe, Central America, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, South Africa, Romania, Scandinavia, the C.I.S. (Russia), Taiwan, India, and from coast to coast in the United States.

Rusty ministers in prophetic teaching and counseling and praying for the sick, and he preaches evangelistically. Many people have been born again into the kingdom as a result of his ministry, and many have received physical healings, including healing of deafness, tumors, arthritis, cancer, spinal disorders, blind eyes opened, and healing from many other sicknesses. Jesus still heals today!

Since 1991, Rusty has helped start over 350 churches and train over 50,000 new leaders and won thousands to Christ on his 53 plus short term mission trips to Russia. Twice a year he leads mission teams to Russia.

In 1997, Rusty co-labored with Bob Weiner of Weiner Ministries International to help train 12,400 university students in Hyderbad, India, to win 10 fellow classmates to Jesus and start a cell group on their campus. At the "Born Again 97" conference, Rusty ministered on how to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and over 8,000 students received at once the baptism as the Holy Spirit marvelously came upon them.

Since 1998 Rusty has dedicated himself to reach more of Asia. He has helped start 45 churches in Indonesia and trained thousands of leaders. Beginning in 2002, Rusty established Miracle Life Ministries Asia based in Singapore to reach, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and the rest of Asia on quarterly trips to the Region.

Rusty trains many with Prophetic Seminars - teaching and releasing saints in the gifts of the Holy Spirit for this prophetic generation. He also mentors young prophets through Prophetic Counseling Clinics held in churches in conjunction with their Pastors and as they accompany him on trips in the Region.

Mildred is a former Chairman of the Alachua County Republican Executive Committee. She served as a Co-Chair of the Bush/Cheney ’04 Campaign for our County. One of the highlights of 2004 was attending the Republican National Convention in New York City. She now serves as an elected official in the Republican Party in the State of Florida, she is the State CommitteeWoman for Alachua County, Fl.

She is currently serving as our County Chairman for the Florida Women for McCain Campaign as well as County Chairman of the McCain for President Campaign. She works with a large number of volunteers to get out the vote for the 2008 Elections.

She is the mother of two young adults and soon to become a GrandMother, Jason, 25, is now married to Suzy and they are expecting their first baby in late October 2007. Our daughter Becka is still single and 23 and is presently working in Advertising.

Rusty and his family live in Gainesville, Florida, where early in 1990 he became the Founder and President of "Miracle Life Ministries, Inc.", a service ministry to help in church growth through the Prophecy and evangelism.
